The fighting finishes using an armistice on 27 July 1953 and also the creation of a demilitarised zone, separating the two Koreas. Up to 3 million men and women are killed within the war.
The southern and western aspects of the peninsula have well-developed plains, whilst the eastern and northern components are mountainous. The highest mountain in Korea is Mount Paektu (2,744 m), through which runs the border with China. The 슬롯솔루션 southern extension of Mount Paektu is a highland called Gaema Heights. This highland was mainly raised during the Cenozoic orogeny and partly covered by volcanic matter. To the south of Gaema Gowon, successive high mountains can be found together the japanese coast in the peninsula.
